Woolworths Rainbow Cake

We are excited to announce that Woolworths has launched a brand new limited edition Rainbow Layer Cake to help support Rainbow Families and our work with LGBTQ+ families.

With fun, colourful layers that are filled with cream cheese buttercream icing and topped with rainbow sprinkles, it's the perfect cake to show your proud support for LGBTQ+ families and for any type of celebration with friends, family or work colleagues. The limited edition cake is available for $10 (while stocks last), and $1 from every sale is set to be donated directly to Rainbow Families

Woolworths is proud to partner with Rainbow Families. Managing Director of Woolworths Food Company, Guy Brent (he/him), said: "We’re delighted to be partnering with Rainbow Families, an organisation that does incredible work in the community.

“Family can mean different things to different people and I know that, for the LGBTQ+ community, it can often mean needing more support and guidance. Cake is often a staple of family celebrations and so it made sense for us to create a product that families love, to support a community that loves so proudly."

Rainbow Families Executive Officer, Ashley Scott (he/him), said: “We are thrilled to be part of this delicious initiative. February in NSW and across the country is a time of celebration for our families - a time to come together and be with our vibrant and diverse community.

“Although there is much to celebrate, there is still so much work to be done before all families are treated equally. Thanks to this generous donation from Woolworths, we will be able to support even more LGBTQ+ parents and their families.”

The limited edition cake is available for $10 (in select stores NSW & ACT), and $1 from every sale is set to be donated directly to Rainbow Families.
